Participant Services

In addition to our participant communication and education resources and programs, we provide full participant support including web and mobile access, voice response unit and call center support. These services cover everything from balance inquiries to loans and hardship withdrawals to final distributions.

Phone Access

We provide participants with 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern time access to our dedicated call center representatives. The team providing live phone support is closely connected to the teams responsible for plan operations and recordkeeping so they are deeply knowledgeable about the details of the plan and the client.

Web and Mobile Access

We will provide a customized website with full inquiry and transaction capability for plan participants. This website includes retirement income projection and modeling tools. The plan administrator has plan and participant level access for all inquiries, transactions and reporting.

Financial Wellness

NWPS has recently implemented partnerships with leading financial wellness providers chosen to support our clients’ goals for improving personal financial wellness and literacy across their employee populations. These services include web-based tools & video, topical meetings via webinar, in-person meetings for groups and individuals and ongoing individual coaching and planning via phone and messaging with our experienced, licensed financial wellness coaches. All services are unconflicted and fee-for-service. No products are sold.

Retirement Modeling/Investment Advice

We have integrated personal retirement modeling capability with Newkirk’s AdvicePlus! tool. This system pre-populates with participant plan and demographic information and leads the participant through a retirement modeling session and provides fund-specific advice for plan participants. When a participant completes a session and accepts the recommendation, the investment election and deferral changes are triggered in our system.

Managed Accounts

NWPS has integrated managed account offerings from a number of providers which can be used by any plan.

Inquiries, Transactions, Distributions

The systems above enable participant access to the plan for all types of inquiries, transactions and distributions. This includes balance inquiries, investment election changes, contribution changes, loan modeling and requests, hardship withdrawals and termination distributions.

Quarterly Statements

We will work with the client to design the quarterly statements. We are responsible for printing and mailing the quarterly participant statements.

Required Notices

We are responsible for sending any required annual notices to plan participants. We provide tax documentation for all distributions.

Beneficiary Elections

We will collect and maintain beneficiary elections for all plan participants.
